Terms of Service

By accessing or using StatusLane ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users of StatusLane, including free and paid subscribers.

StatusLane is a SaaS platform that allows users to create and manage public status pages to communicate system status and incidents to their users. The Service includes a dashboard for managing status pages, components, and incidents, as well as public-facing status pages accessible via subdomains of statuslane.online.

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

StatusLane offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Agency). Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All prices are in US dollars.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Publish false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

You retain ownership of all content you publish through the Service, including page names, component names, incident descriptions, and update messages. By publishing content, you grant StatusLane a limited license to display and deliver that content as part of the Service.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you publish.

StatusLane and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StatusLane and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform without express written permission.

We strive to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary downtime. We will communicate planned maintenance through our own status page.

StatusLane is not liable for any damages resulting from downtime or service interruptions.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatusLane shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to StatusLane in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
